Speedway

For the last few years there has been a trend in Speedway to utilise all Kevlar race-suits. 
These suits remain potentially very dangerous and even lethal when a crashing rider slides at speed across the track surface. During these accidents Kevlar is unable to dissipate the build up of heat cause by friction, this can result in serious burns to the arms, legs and buttocks. Equally it is possible for the arm and leg holes to roll up exposing the body to serious injury. 

Like any other safety equipment manufacturer SPORTAC recognises that it has a duty of care to all its customers. We only recommend leather based suits for Speedway, which are able to protect against these injuries
